The Honor Vote program lets Tennesseans dedicate their vote to those who are serving or have served our country. The men and women of the U.S. military ensure our freedom and democracy, allowing us to cast a ballot each Election Day.

Helped build the Alaska-Canada Hwy as a member of the "93rd (Colored) Engineer Battalion" during WWII. Killed on Adak Island, part of the Aleutian Islands of Alaska in a terrible construction accident. Brian was stationed at Fort Campbell where he completed AIT School to become a "Signaller" or Radio Operator with the 82nd Airborne's Screaming Eagles. His 1st deployment was with the 82nd Airborne in Operation "Just Cause" during the Panama Conflict. He was then deployed to Kuwait, as part of Operation Desert Shield during the 39 day Air Campaign and operations leading to the buildup of Troops which then became Operation Desert Storm.
