About the Secretary of State's Final Unofficial Election Results
To provide Tennesseans with access to real-time data as it is reported by each county across the state on Election Night, our office has created an Election Night Reporting Dashboard. Our goal is to provide people with easy access to trusted information straight from our office so they can stay informed and updated as results are reported. All results featured in our dashboard are unofficial election results, which means that the information reported has not been certified. Individuals using the ENR Dashboard may access helpful tips on following races and monitoring results below.
How to View and Engage with Results
1. See an Overview of Results by County and District
Use our dashboard to access unofficial election results in real-time as they are reported across the state by each county and each district. These automatically update without having to “refresh” the webpage, so users may click on “results by county” and “results by district” in the navy blue bar to see an overview of current precincts reporting and the status of each county.
2. Create a Custom Tracker
Users may create their own custom data feed of races they are interested in tracking under each election category (Presidents, Statewide Offices, US House, and General Assembly).
To build your custom list, click on the star icon on the right side of each race’s block. All races that are starred by the user will be viewable under the “Following” tab. To remove a race from this grouping, users may click on the star again and it will no longer be selected to populate under the “following” tab.
To accommodate different viewing preferences, users may toggle the “Grid View” button on the right hand side of the US House and General Assembly election categories.
3. Determine Final Unofficial Results
Green checkmarks on races indicate that final unofficial results have been collected for that individual race. Click on results by county to quickly see each county’s completion status. Counties colored in light green are partially complete and counties in dark green have been finalized. On the interactive map, users may click on an individual county to see all race results for that county at once.
